This effort can be reduced considerably, when the work is carried out on-site, as disassembly and transport can be reduced to the minimum. Specialists from Grimsel Hydro provide the necessary flexibility and mobility to perform these demanding tasks. Additionally, we own and operate special tools, machines and mobile hoists with load/person platform for inspection and maintenance work inside pressure ducts (on demand, our equipment can be rented). Our specialists can carry out maintenance and assembly works directly at your power plant. Furthermore, we offer inspections and non-destructive test procedures, service and operation of cable cars and funiculars, as well as on-site mechanical fabrication.
